I provide independent financial modeling support to boutique M&A advisors and private equity sponsors on a project basis.

Professional Experience

Throughout her career, Silvia has worked across multiple industries including healthcare, construction, technology, manufacturing, and consumer products. She has held finance roles at organizations such as Sentara Healthcare, HITT Contracting, and AOL, developing expertise in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, KPI reporting, and executive-level presentations. She has also worked independently with small businesses and nonprofit organizations to implement sound financial processes and strengthen financial reporting.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Silvia completed coursework in Financial Modeling and Valuation through the Corporate Finance Institute after earning her master’s degree. She is currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Accounting through the University of Virginia and plans to sit for the CPA exam, with the goal of becoming a Certified Public Accountant by the end of 2026. Early Life and Education
Originally from Colombia where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Business Administration, Silvia moved to the United States in 2000 and settled in Florida, where she earned her Master of Science in Finance from Florida International University. In 2006, she relocated to Virginia, where she has built both her professional career and her family life as a mother of two.
Values and Community
Silvia places great importance on faith, family, and community. Raised with strong Catholic values, she remains closely connected to her local parish and Catholic school community, where she and her children continue to practice and live those values.
Hobbies and Mentorship
Outside of work, Silvia enjoys gardening and running, and has a long-standing passion for youth sports. She previously coached middle school basketball and track and now actively supports her children’s high school and AAU sports, reflecting her commitment to teamwork, mentorship, and family involvement.
